Becca Parsons, OWNER and behavioral specialist

I grew up in Montrose, getting my start as a dog trainer through a local 4-H group. After graduating with a degree in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado in 2007, I went on to attend Triple Crown Academy in Hutto, Texas (now known as Starmark Academy.) There, in 2008, I met my goal of becoming a Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist, my faithful golden 'heart dog' Gabe by my side. Over the following decade, I had the privilege of growing my experience and knowledge under various professional dog trainers in the Denver area, as well as running a chapter in a thriving dog rescue for many years. I have now trained hundreds of dogs of numerous breeds, temperaments, and personalities. I also compete in agility, competition obedience, and rally obedience with our three 'All American' rescued dogs Walden, Griswold, and Boggans, plus a Berger Blanc Suisse named Brütten, a sport bred Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix, Deacon, and the newest to the pack, a Border Collie/Papillon mix named Weevil.

Hannah Jackson, Trainer

Hi! My name is Hannah Jackson.  I was born and raised in Montrose, CO and my love of animals came at a very young age. At the age of 11 I trained my late poodle, Chance, and we became a certified therapy dog team.  From there my desire to train professionally was my goal. That goal was achieved in 2018 when I became a dog trainer at Golden Heart Canine.  In my spare time, I enjoy taking my three dogs, GiGi, Brookson and Willow, out hiking and camping.

In 2019 I had the great opportunity to start my dog training career at Golden Heart Canine with Becca as my mentor. In 2020 I attended the Highland Canine Professional School for Dog Trainers in North Carolina and upon graduation returned to Montrose where Becca graciously welcomed me back. I graduated Highland Canine as a certified Master Dog Trainer, with a concentration in Service Dog Training. I have a passion to help others strengthen their quality of life through personal service dogs and thrive with the bond that is shared between dog and owner.

My handsome rescue dog, Spooky, has been my fury companion on my life’s journey and I enjoy working and training with him at every chance. I was born and raised in beautiful Montrose, and love spending time in the mountains camping and hiking whenever I can.

Quinn bader, Trainer

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and moved to Colorado in 2013. Ever since my first pair of rats at four years old, I’ve never been without a pet. My passion grew for dogs, and I earned multiple American Kennel Club titles with my German Shepherd. My favorite part about working with dogs is helping the owner and dog learn to communicate effectively. My hobbies always include animals. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!
